Even though Willis Towers Watson had a CFO they loved, they had to replace him. When he retired, the company needed to find a replacement. They knew they could find someone who would fit in with the company and who would give the company what they were looking for. They made plans to always give people what they needed and that meant they had to do things that would change the course of the business.
